Uhuru outlines corruption and terror as country’s major threats

Corruption and terrorism still remain the major threats to the national development projects and agendas.

During the state of the nation address, President Uhuru Kenyatta outlined steps taken to curb corruption including empowering anti-corruption agencies.

According to Uhuru the government last year recovered property worth 500 million that were looted by state officials through corrupt deals.

He further asked the MPs to support his big four agenda which mainly tackled food security in the country,universal health care, affordable housing and job creation.

Meanwhile here are some mixed reactions from members of parliament and even the general public over todays’  address.
