ODM leader Raila Odinga has urged Kenyans to shun mediocrity and focus on economic development. He said Kenyans should put more effort in entrepreneurship to develop the nation. Raila spoke yesterday in Kisumu during a Unaitas breakfast meeting.
Raila said Kenyans should believe in themselves and be innovative. “Colonialism ended many years ago and it’s time we become committed to development ativities,” he said. “It is possible to do it like other nations. Kenya can do it. Africans can also do it like European countries.”
Raila, who launched the 25th branch of micro loans lender Unaitas in Kisumu, urged residents to embrace a savings culture.
