The Supreme Court has validated the election of Embu Governor Martin Nyaga Wambora.
The apex court ruled that former Embu senator Lenny Kivuti who was the petitioner in the case failed to adduce requisite legal burden of proof to show there were irregularities in the gubernatorial election.
The court also upheld the election of John Nyangarama as the Nyamira county governor.
In the judgment delivered by supreme court judge Mohammed Ibrahim, the court ruled that High court erred in nullifying the election of Embu governor Wambora.
