  • Salma Hayek, 52, just posted new no-makeup selfies to Instagram.
  • In the pictures, Salma plays with lighting and her best angles, showing off a wrinkle-free face.
  • Salma credits her great skin to a simple skincare regimen and face masks.

So you’ve mastered the smize and perfected the duck face. But have you found your light? Because Salma Hayek sure has. The actress posted a series of no-makeup selfie photos on her Instagram where the light is hitting her in allll the right places. Skin✔️ Eyes✔️ Brows ✔️.

Salma captioned the photo in both English and Spanish telling followers, “I love playing with light. If you get to know it it can make you ???? younger or mysterious, sexy or sweet but be careful because it can also make you look old and ugly.”

If you swipe through her slideshow, it seems like Salma has got the whole lighting thing down pat. The 52-year-old looks decades younger in these photos. (I mean, does she have even one wrinkle? Sure doesn’t seem like it.)

So, what keeps Salma looking this good? The actress spilled her entire skincare routine in The New York Times. Here’s a few of her tips:

    Salma skips the morning cleanse.

The key to Salma’s beautiful skin is not to overdo it. “I never cleanse my skin in the morning,” Salma told the publication. “My grandmother taught me that at night your skin replenishes all the things you lost during the day.”

Rose water is a key part of her daily routine.

Salma spritzes rose water on her face at least twice a day. First, in the morning before she applies her moisturizer. “It’s so gentle and wakes the skin up,” she explained. Salma also uses it at night after removing her makeup with coconut oil. “You can use a hot towel with the rose water,” she said, noting that this creates a little facial steam.

Salma’s a total face mask junkie.

Celebs, they’re just like us! But seriously, Salma is a face mask aficionado, with her own line of masks in collaboration with Juice Generation, called B.I.Y (Blend-It-Yourself).

Often at night, she’ll use the hibiscus mask from her collection or whip up a quick oatmeal cleanser. “You can use a little bit of oatmeal and then some water or almond milk, and a little bit of honey,” she said. “You let it soak, and it’s a great cleanser that makes your skin very soft.”

Oh, and this certainly isn’t the first time Salma has slayed it on her Instagram. This no-makeup selfie was posted just one day after a sultry beach photoshoot, barely giving her followers time to catch their breath.

She captioned the beach photos, “Sometimes you just need to surrender and let the waters move and embrace you. #waves. “

You know what moves me, Salma? You and your ability to look this good!

President Uhuru Kenyatta has announced the extension of the nationwide curfew by a further 30 days stating that it is not yet fully safe to fully reopen the economy as such a move would pose a threat to public health.

Speaking during a live adress to the nation from State House, Nairobi, President Kenyatta however revised the curfew hours from 7pm-5am to 9pm to 4am, a move which he said will afford Kenyans more working hours and the flexibility to get home after clearing their shifts.

The President also lifted the cessation of movement into Kilifi and Kwale counties as well as Eastleigh (Nairobi) and Old Town (Mombasa) effective June 7 after data indicated that COVID-19 cases were starting to drop in these regions.

However, the cessation of movement orders will continue to apply in Mombasa and Mandera Counties and the Nairobi Metropolitan Area (NMS) by another 30 days following the recommendation of health experts.

“We must accept that we are not dealing with a right or wrong opinion we are caught in between two rights. Those who want to open the economy are right and those opposed to opening the economy are also right,” said President Kenyatta.

“This clash of two rights placed us on the horns of a dilemma. In the absence of scientific consensus among our experts, I asked for some scenarios. I wanted to know the best and worst-case scenarios in order to contain the disease without affecting the economy irreversibly,” said President Kenyatta.
