Tiffany Haddish has ruled out hosting the 2019 Academy Awards, in support of her ‘brother’ Kevin Hart.
The Girls Trip star, 39, told Lorraine Kelly that while it would be ‘pretty cool’ to land the coveted gig, she doesn’t think there would be ‘enough preparation time.’
It comes after her Night School co-star Kevin, 39, was forced to resign from hosting the Oscars after old homophobic tweets had emerged.

Tiffany told Lorraine: ‘That would be cool. It would be nice to have the ying and yang there, that would be cool, but you need proper preparation time.
His statement of resignation came despite Kevin previously apologising for the tweets, and he explained that he was told by the Academy to either apologise again or step down.
This has led many viewers to question whether a replacement for Kevin would be found, along with numerous reports that this year’s ceremony would go forward without a host.
Tiffany rose to public attention in 2017 after being praised by critics for her performance in comedy Girls Trip, and has since landed numerous roles including the voice of Queen Watevra Wa-Nabi in The Lego Movie 2.
