Jacque Maribe’s parents may advise their daughter against testifying against her fiance Joe Irungu alias Jowie who is the prime suspect in the killing of Monica Kimani.

According to her father, Mwangi Maribe, his daughter’s life might be in danger seeing as Jowie is a well connected man.

“He may not have committed the crime alone. The man has deep connections with shadowy people. His accomplices may be out there and may go after my daughter if she testifies against him. She could live in fear for the rest of her life,” Mr Maribe told the Nation.

Jacque was arrested alongside her neighbour Brian Kasaine, whose gun Jowie used to injure himself.

Speaking to NTV, Jowie’s parents said that the police have denied him access to medical attention.

Mr Maribe has also accused the police of holding his “disciplined” daughter in bad taste. He says that the only reason she is being locked up is because she is a celebrity.

“Police want to become famous by nailing a celebrity. That is why my daughter is in custody. Her neighbour, Brian Kassaine, also has a partner. Why is she not in custody? Her biggest mistake was falling in love,” he added.

The Citizen TV journalist could be charged as an accessory to a murder after she appeared to have covered up for him.

Defending his daughter, the ever daunting father said she was acting out of love and “may have felt responsible for his attempted suicide.”

He also said that his daughter was going to end the relationship on the night of September 20.

“She asked Irungu to return her car keys and ATM card. Even when they went back to the house, Jacque threw some of his clothes out. The man threatened to kill himself after Jacque said she would leave him. He borrowed a gun and shot himself,” he continued.

On Friday, the Nairobian reported that the Maribe family has never really liked Jowie, describing him as a “controlling, manipulative, boastful and one with anger issues.”

The TV girl will be arraigned in court on October 11.

Ringtone has for the last few weeks ruffling the wrong feathers thanks to his publicity stunts which left his fans angered and resulted to attacking him.

Ringtone posted a photo of him hanging out with Tiktoker Azziad.

This was a tired move which was obviously aimed at trying to create a conversation around him before releasing a song dubbed ‘Zoea mawe’ which he featured the pretty lass.

One of his moves included pretending that he and Azziad are expecting a baby and it’s safe to say it backfired on him heavily.

Today the singer who always boasts of his riches, posted a snippet of his interview with one of Tanzania’s media outlets.

In the interview, Ringtone did not mince his words as he bragged how moneyed he is. In fact he went ahead to state that his bank account is fatter than Diamond Platnumz’s.

C’mon folks even a 5 year old child knows the Tanzanian hot shot’ s name and would flinch if you mentioned Ringtone.

Diamond has been flying high with his wcb music label, jams, international performances and accolades.

You don’t need to be an accountant to tell how moneyed this guy is.

Ringtone’s attempt to outshine Diamond heavily backfired as his own followers drugged him in the mud.

Check out some of their reactions.

Nandwai : I have never heard Diamond say he is rich, but what he has, already speaks for himself.. He don’t need to tell anyone that he is rich. Then her comes our own Kenyan ameishi kutu ambia how rich he is but you will never see him change another car apart from two white and black land cruiser and a house, I mean, 1 house

Irene Nzii : God’s people don’t brag like you

Anne : It’s OK you are rich but utaziwacha zote when we die. So usiringe Sana yote ni ya dunia.

Betty :Nyimbo zako ni mzuri sana but hutawacha kujisifu
